Producer/Director Keith Jefferies

Keith Jefferies has produced several hundred hours of television including documentaries, entertainment and promotional work and professional sports coverage such as UK national league basketball, soccer, rugby, skiing, athletics and more.

For six years, Keith worked as a director at the BBC on the corporation's flagship international news channel BBC World plus digital childrens channels, CBBC and Cbeebies, and interactive programming. In addition, he also directed a number of film dramas with Ascalon Films.

Keith's work includes production, directing and scripting. He is also skilled in camera operation, lighting, graphic design and editing, both tape-based and digital non-linear. Keith is a full member of the Directors Guild of Great Britain and the Guild of Television Cameramen.

As well as heading up Ascalon Films, Keith is also Resident Filmmaker at the Michigan Theater, Ann Arbor, MI, where he runs a regular program of short films, Cinema Slam, which features the work of local and international independent filmmakers.
